Fashion students from Kolej Komuniti Selayang (KKS) visited the Cyberjaya campus on 24 April 2018.
Upon arrival, the large group of more than 100 students and their lecturers were met with a warm reception by Limkokwing staff before taking a tour of the Presidential Library.
The Faculty of Fashion and Lifestyle Creativity (FFLC) invited the students to share about Limkokwing’s strong base in the fashion industry.
FFLC lecturers conducted four different workshops with the energetic students at the Branding Gallery and International Gallery, where they learned a lot about fashion, especially with regard to creativity and innovation.
Students learned about illustration, makeup, hair styling and headscarf styling.
The place to be for any aspiring fashion student
One of the visiting students, Nurin Syauqina Zulkorman, said it was her first time walking into a University with so many different nationalities represented.
“I particularly loved the warm reception when we came in as it showed how welcoming and warm this University is,” she said.
Interested in illustration, Nurin found the workshops very useful and beneficial for her personal development.
Another KKS student, Ezad Amer Hamzah, said he liked that fact that Limkokwing students are given the liberty to express their ideas openly.
“I have friends in this campus, so I know how great and influential this University is when it comes to fashion, and most certainly the place to be for any aspiring fashion students,” said Ezad.
