Limkokwing Appointed as MAMPU Strategic Partner in Digital Government Transformation Initiative
Limkokwing University received its letter of confirmation as Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit’s (MAMPU) Strategic Partner during the Public Sector CIO Convex 2016 on 23 November.
The Public Sector CIO CONVEX 2016 is a platform for government agencies, strategic partners from industries as well as local and international experts to gather and explore digital transformation.
The Malaysian Government has created a new digital transformation strategy set to revamp the nation’s public service delivery by becoming fully digital by the year 2020. MAMPU has outlined the strategy in the Public Sector ICT Strategic Plan 2016-2020.
Armed with this strategy, the main implementation of all Government digital services will be designed around users’ needs. The delivery will emphasise key goals in digital, data, cloud and cyber security in the public sector. The Government will also increase citizens’ engagement in developing the services by building platforms to receive feedback on policies and government services.
With this appointment, Limkokwing University is now a part of the Public Sector Strategic Collaboration Network, a platform which appoints strategic partners from different industries to work closer with the communities to build services for the digital initiative.
