Over 1,000 Limkokwing students from 67 countries celebrated their graduation accompanied by their proud parents, relatives, friends, colleagues and loved ones in a heartwarming ceremony at the Plenary Hall, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on 19 December 2019.

Themed ‘Designing Your Future’, the graduation ceremony was graced by Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Arif Temenggong Tengku Fahd Mua’adzam Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and attended by the University’s Founder President, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Limkokwing.

Addressing the convocation, Tan Sri Limkokwing praised the graduating students and wished them the very best in all their endeavours as they move on to build their futures.

“Class of 2019, in your time with us, you have won awards and broken records. You have contributed selflessly to charity and been actively engaged in campaigns designed to promote sustainability. You have become role models to many.”

“Class of 2019, as 2020 is just around the corner, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you the very best in the year that lies ahead. May the journey you have started with us take you on the most exciting career pathways.”

“Class of 2019, now let us focus on the true heroes of today’s ceremony—-your irreplaceable parents. If not for their endless patience, love and support, you wouldn’t be graduating today. If not for them, we wouldn’t be celebrating here today. Upon them, you must forever shower love and affection.”

Concluding his speech during the historic ceremony, Tan Sri Limkokwing said, “I thank you for having come to spend time with us. I thank you for the faith you have in us. I thank you for the incredible vibrancy and booming energy you have brought to this University. I thank you for being here and being a part of our journey.”

“Class of 2019, you are no ordinary graduates. You are Limkokwing graduates. You are expected to perform better than others. You are expected to be simply the best!”
