Student wins iPad for website feedback

Bachelor of Professional Design student, Clara Chin Xuanyi received an iPad Mini that she won from the ‘Comment and Win’ contest organised by Limkokwing University. The contest, which ran for the duration of the site’s beta period was organised as a means to gain the students' opinion regarding the University's newly launched website.

The contest required participants to give their view of the website through a Feedback feature which enabled them to submit their comments. Three of the most creative and constructive comments were selected to receive an iPad Mini each. Clara, who entered the contest because she wanted the website to be more user friendly, believed that her comments would help develop it.

“I want to thank Limkokwing University for the iPad Mini, it’s really a generous and encouraging prize.”

The final year student who studied Web Design as a minor subject, says that she find the website very useful, because she can get all the information pertaining to her academics as well as keeping up with the University’s news and events.

She says she likes the website’s new interface and the minimalistic feel which makes it ‘user friendly’ and easier to navigate, making it ideal for users from different backgrounds.

“Anyone can use it and that’s very important, like parents that want to browse the site even though they may lack the proper knowledge on the internet.”

She says by asking for the students for feedback and opinions, the competition stayed true to Limkokwing University’s style and approach to education, which encourages students’ active and practical involvement in their education.

Limkokwing University has a practical approach to education and a close relationship with multiple industries. Students are constantly attached to industry leading companies to acquire skill needed in the industry before they even graduate. The University also organises fashion and music performances which encourages students to explore their talents.
