Papua New Guinea Ambassador visits Limkokwing University

Limkokwing University welcomed the Ambassador of Papua New Guinea at its Cyberjaya campus on 10 March 2017.

His Excellency Peter Vincent was appointed as the Ambassador of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea for Malaysia in 2016. He had an extensive history with the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority (PNG-TPA) prior to his post in the Papua New Guinea diplomatic corps.

During the visit to the University’s main campus in Cyberjaya, His Excellency has expressed interest in collaborating with Limkokwing University to establish its presence in Papua New Guinea.

“I am quite impressed by the University’s creativity,” he said after reviewing the University’s facilities and accomplishments. “This University focuses on practicality which will help students to develop their skills.”

His Excellency also added that Limkokwing University’s strong emphasis on industry exposure would enable students to develop practical skills which are more useful for graduates after completing their studies.

The establishment of the University’s presence in the country would enable students from Papua New Guinea to experience the University’s unique learning approach that emphasises multiculturalism and industry exposure.

Limkokwing University maintains close relations with various embassies and government organisations. The University provides unique educational opportunities for students from over 150 countries and enables graduates to succeed in a globalised environment.
